Transfer Certificate Guidelines

At St. Xavier’s English School, we strive to make the process of obtaining a Transfer Certificate (TC) straightforward and efficient. A Transfer Certificate is issued to students who wish to move to another school and is an essential document for their academic journey.

Steps to Apply for a Transfer Certificate

1. Submit a Written Application

• Parents/Guardians must submit a written application requesting the Transfer Certificate.
• The application should include:
  • Student’s full name
  • Class and section
  • Reason for transfer
  • Name of the school to which the transfer is being made

2. Clear Outstanding Dues

• Ensure that all outstanding dues (if any) are cleared before the TC request is processed.
• This includes tuition fees, library dues, and other payments related to the school.

3. Document Verification

• Submit the following documents along with the application:
  • Copy of the latest fee receipt
  • Student ID card
  • Any other relevant documents requested by the school administration

4. Administrative Processing

• Once the application and required documents are received, the school administration will process the request.
• This may include a final review of the student’s academic and conduct records.

5. Collection of Transfer Certificate

• Parents/Guardians will be notified once the Transfer Certificate is ready for collection.
• The certificate must be collected in person from the school office during working hours (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Important Notes

• The Transfer Certificate will only be issued after the completion of the necessary formalities.
• Requests should be made at least 7 working days in advance to ensure timely processing.
• In case of any discrepancies or incomplete applications, the processing time may be extended.
• For students leaving in the middle of the academic session, prior approval from the Principal is mandatory.
